Getting started
How Vianorr Education works
Five stages from first search to application managed — with compensation disclosed and adviser relationships verifiable at every step.
Five things to know before you start
Free to explore
No account required to search schools, read city guides, or view adviser listings.
No adviser can buy a higher organic match
Subscription tier is not a factor in organic ranking. A Basic subscriber who matches your needs beats a Professional subscriber who does not.
Education services only
Vianorr does not list immigration consultants. Education and immigration are separate regulated fields.
Compensation disclosed before you contact
Every adviser card shows fee model — student-paid, commissioned, or mixed — before you view the profile or initiate contact.
Reviews are verified
Reviews can only be submitted after a consultation that both parties mark completed. They cannot be purchased or removed for a fee.
The five stages
1
Tell Vianorr what you need
A structured intake — not a generic search box
- ·Choose your study level: undergraduate, graduate, college, or continuing education
- ·Select the province or city you are considering
- ·Set your expected start date and how far along you are in the process
- ·Choose the type of support you need: school selection, application preparation, document review, or offer comparison
- ·Specify languages you want to work in and any fee preferences
Your intake is used to generate a match set — it is not shared with advisers unless you initiate contact. You can change your intake parameters at any time to see different results.
2
Review your match set
Compare advisers with fee models and institution relationships visible before you click through
- ·See why each adviser was included: service fit, education level, destination, language, availability
- ·See the fee model on every card — student-paid, institution-commissioned, or mixed
- ·See which institutions each adviser has verified relationships with
- ·Filter by independent advisers only, fee model, language, or next-available date
- ·Add advisers to a comparison shortlist
Match reasons are factual — not percentage scores. "Supports undergraduate Ontario applications" is a verifiable fact; "94% match" is not. The full ranking methodology is published.

Read the profile and verify
Every profile uses the same disclosure structure — no exceptions
- ·Structured fee disclosure: what the adviser charges students and what they receive from institutions — listed as ✓/✕ items, not prose
- ·Institution relationships: each listed as 'Officially authorised' (documentary evidence on file) or 'Provider-reported — not verified by Vianorr'
- ·Verified reviews — submitted only after a completed consultation, rated across 7 service-quality dimensions
- ·Vianorr Screened badges: identity, business registration, training credentials, institution relationships, conduct declaration, compensation disclosure
- ·Enforcement state: Active, Under enhanced monitoring, Engagements paused, Restricted, Suspended, or Removed
Reviews do not rate whether a student was admitted. That is an institutional decision. Review dimensions cover communication, clarity, timeliness, fee transparency, understanding of goals, usefulness of the consultation, and accuracy of the service description.
How reviews work →4
Book a consultation
Schedule through the platform — no personal data shared before booking is confirmed
- ·Choose from the adviser's calendar (Professional and Agency tier providers)
- ·Confirm the service type: school selection session, application strategy, document review, offer comparison
- ·Review the expected deliverables and fee before confirming
- ·Receive a booking confirmation with the service scope in writing
- ·Your contact details are shared with the adviser only after the booking is confirmed
Basic-tier providers use a contact-request form rather than direct calendar booking. The service type and fee are still disclosed before you submit the request.
5
Manage your application
Keep schools, decisions, and next steps in one place
- ·Shortlist schools with comparison notes (available now)
- ·Track application deadlines per school (available now)
- ·Store and compare offer packages side by side (available now)
- ·Grant read-only access to a parent or guardian — they see your shortlist and timeline, but cannot modify anything (planned: later release)
- ·Application document checklist and pre-submission review integration (planned: later release)
Core shortlist and deadline tracking is available at launch. Shared family access and document integration are planned for a later release and are not available at pilot launch.
What Vianorr is not
Being clear about what the platform does not do is part of being trustworthy.
Not an education consultancy
Vianorr does not provide advice about which school to attend, how to write your personal statement, or how to improve your application. That advice comes from the adviser you book.
Not an immigration consultant
Immigration and visa advice in Canada requires a regulated RCIC credential or an immigration lawyer. Education advisers on Vianorr are listed for education services only. A provider who offers both must maintain entirely separate listings.
Education vs. immigration →Not a guarantee of admission
No adviser or platform can guarantee an admission outcome. Admission decisions are made by the institution's admissions office. Any service that claims to guarantee admission is a red flag.
Not an agent referral network
Vianorr does not receive referral fees from advisers for student introductions. Provider subscriptions fund platform access — not placement priority or lead fees.
Business model →Not free for all advisers
Basic listing is free. Advisers who want calendar booking, analytics, counsellor sub-profiles, and priority support subscribe at the Professional or Agency tier.
